Born and raised in Howard County, Dr. Giosa dedicated the majority of her time, starting at age 4, to pursuing a future in veterinary medicine.
A graduate of Mount Hebron High School, Dr. Giosa went on to study Pre-Veterinary Medicine at the University of Delaware with minors in Biology and Spanish. Dr. Giosa obtained her DVM degree from the VA-MD College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA (Let's Go Hokies!) where she participated in international veterinary medicine training and outreach programs through World Vets.
Her professional interests include behavior, nutrition, pain management, and client education.
When she's not working Dr. Giosa loves to cheer on her Baltimore Sports teams and spend time with her four-legged hooligans Rusty, Willy, and Simera.
