FAQ

There is an emergency and your offices are closed. Where can I go?

Please see our Referral page for more information on emergency clinics that can accommodate visits outside of our business hours.

Why do some procedures (such as spaying and neutering) require hospitalization?

We keep patients overnight after some procedures to monitor them post-op. In the hospital, we can assess anesthetic recovery and concerns, watch for discomfort and treat with pain medication, make any necessary treatment adjustments quickly, be sure that incisions are healing nicely, and keep patients calm and quiet while they take the first steps towards healing.

When is payment expected and how can I pay?

Payment is expected at the time that services are performed or at the time of patient discharge. We accept payment in the form of cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and CareCredit, which is a credit program that offers zero interest for up to 6 months on all medical procedures. For more information, visit CareCredit.com

My pet is in the hospital. Can I come and visit them?

We welcome hospital visits, but ask that you call and speak with a staff member first to schedule a time that will not impede treatments from being done.

What are the pre-surgical fasting requirements?

No food or water after midnight the night prior to the procedure.

Are you open on holidays?

We are closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas

What are boarding pick up/drop off times and why?

All boarding pick ups and drop offs must fall within the times listed below, to ensure that we do not have too many dogs and cats in our facility at the same time, and to give our staff time to adequately prepare boarding areas for new arrivals. Should you not be able to pick up or drop off during the designated time, your reservation will have to include the day before or after your stay to ensure that we have adequate accommodations both for your pet and our other boarders - which may be reflected in your bill.

Drop off Monday - Friday: 2pm - 7pm

Pick up Monday - Friday: 8am - 12pm

Drop off Saturday: 2pm - 4pm

Pick up Saturday: 8am - 12pm

Sunday (pick up and drop off): 11am - 12pm

What are your rates for boarding?

All rates for dogs and cats, as well as diabetic boarders, are listed on our boarding page.
